Waterloo Kitchen Renovation is a booking line. It is not a renovation company, and it is not a directory that sells your request to six bidders. It connects you to one local kitchen renovation contractor who works across the city: the pre-war houses in Uptown and Mary-Allen, the bungalows and backsplits in Lakeshore, Lincoln Village, Colonial Acres and Westmount, the 1980s and 90s houses in Beechwood, Columbia Forest and Laurelwood, the newer homes in Clair Hills, Vista Hills, Eastbridge and Erbsville, Northdale and the condo buildings Uptown and along the ION line. Plus Elmira, St. Jacobs, Conestogo, Wellesley and Bloomingdale outside the city.
Kitchens are the most expensive room most people renovate, and the one where you have the least information before you commit. That draws a certain kind of selling. A round number with no breakdown. A design fee that buys a drawing and nothing else. A big deposit before anything is ordered. A start date next week on cabinets that take much longer than that to build. If you have collected kitchen quotes, you have probably seen at least one of those.
This site exists to get you to a contractor who looks at the room before pricing it, breaks the scope out line by line, puts the cabinet lead time in writing, tells you how long you will be without a kitchen, and says so when new doors and a counter would serve you better than a gut.
What this site will not do: publish reviews it does not have, invent a rating or star count, show project photos that are not the contractor's work, post fixed prices, claim to be an authorised dealer or certified installer for any cabinet, counter or appliance brand, or sell your number to a list of companies. The site is new. It says what it can do and stops there.
What the contractor handles
- Full kitchen renovations, taken back to the studs and rebuilt

- The electrical, plumbing, drywall and flooring work that sits inside a kitchen job
What it does not handle
This is a kitchen site, and the work stops at the kitchen. Bathrooms, basements, additions and whole-house renovations are other jobs. Structural design for a beam comes from someone qualified to produce it, not from a contractor's guess. Appliance repair, cabinet manufacturing and stone fabrication are separate businesses. Electrical work in Ontario is regulated through the Electrical Safety Authority and workplace coverage through WSIB. If you are buying a newly built home rather than renovating one, builders are licensed through the Home Construction Regulatory Authority and new home warranties run through Tarion. If a job belongs to someone else, you will be told that instead of being sold something that will not fix it.
How this works
When you call 548-490-2379 or send the form, your details go straight to the kitchen renovation contractor's office. They book a visit to see the room, talk through what you want changed, check the structure and services behind it, and then quote the work in writing with the scope broken out and the cabinet lead time stated. The work is done under the contractor's own licences and insurance. Your information is not sold or passed to competing companies, and nothing is added to your bill for the introduction.
